Alice Di Micele continues her cover series with Neil Young‘s Harvest Moon. This is such a beautiful, classic song that has been a favorite of Alice’s for many years.  Again, Di Micele adds her own style and musicality to interpret this tune in a unique way while honoring the melody. “My favorite memory of this song was while spending time in Mendocino, CA many years ago during the harvest moon listening to this and watching two dear friends dancing together under the light of the moon. A love song of the highest order,  I have always wanted to do my own version.” says Alice.

Di Micele has toured for over 35 years and has released 16 albums of original music on her label Alice Otter Music. She has shared the stage with some of music’s greats including Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, Steve Winwood, JJ Cale, Peter Rowan, David Grisman, Janis Ian, among many others. Her first album of covers “Interpretations: Vol 1” will be released this winter and she is also working on a new record of original music to be released in 2024.
